Today's encouragement · Day 01
Seen by God
Psalm 139:1–3
You are not overlooked in the small, ordinary parts of your day. God knows you fully. Bring the tasks you carry to Him.
A prayer: Lord, help me remember that You see me today.
Read in the 30-day series ↗Who you are in Christ
When you put your trust in Jesus, Scripture describes you as a child of God (John 1:12), a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), forgiven (1 John 1:9), and loved with a love that cannot be separated from you (Romans 8:38–39). Those promises are rooted in Him, not in how much you accomplish.
What does it mean to follow Jesus?
The Christian message begins with grace: we have sinned and cannot make ourselves right with God by being good enough. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. God invites us to turn from sin and trust in Him (1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10). Following Jesus is a continuing life of faith, prayer, learning His word, and walking with other believers.
If you want to begin today
You can speak honestly to God in your own words. For example: “Jesus, I believe You died and rose again. I need Your forgiveness. I turn to You and trust You to lead my life.” The words themselves are not a formula; the invitation is to trust Christ. Start reading the Gospel of John and connect with a local Bible-teaching church where you can ask questions and grow.
